Summary: This workshop will focus on how to implement the ACS/ASE Core Surgical Curriculum for Clerkship Directors and Clerkship Coordinators. The session will demonstrate the electronic platform and discuss the basic concepts about how to implement and integrate with other curricula, ie the skills curriculum. During the session we will discuss how clerkship directors might use the curriculum for assessment and we will explore evaluation metrics for implementation of the curriculum.
Objectives: At the conclusion of the workshop the attendees will be able to perform the following;
Demonstrate how to navigate the electronic platform for the curriculum
Provide 3 examples of how one may implement the curriculum
Provide 3 examples of how a clerkship director can use the curriculum for assessment
