The Association for Surgical Education (ASE) places a high value on promoting diversity amongst its members and the surgical community. The scholarship was developed by the Diversity,* Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee to help further promote those values. The intent of the scholarship is to help foster the professional growth and development of trainees with an interest in and commitment to surgical education. The scholarship award(s) will range from $500-$2,000 to support participation in the 2025 ASE Annual Meeting, which is taking place May 8-10, 2025 in Seattle, Washington.
